Garden Therapy
Agape Haus is a unique blending of therapeutic gardens alongside a full time music studio, located in the heart of the beautiful Texas Hill Country. Studies show the inherent need of nature in the 21st century. Agape Haus was created to help provide a safe and creative place to explore both music and the wonders of the Heirloom Garden.

A place to be unplugged
Studies show the calming effects on mental health. The studio gardens are available for children to watch butterflies, walk through wildflowers, swing on the “dream swing”, learn about plants and simply daydream.

A place for beauty
I started rescuing Oxblood Lilies and other Heirloom Bulbs 30 years ago. Many treasures are lost when old homesteads are torn down. “Quick color” replaces the charm of old bulbs. I hope to preserve the beautiful legacy of the German Oxblood Lily for generations to come.

A place to create jobs
The Garden Project was created to not only fill a void in our community, but to create a place of encouragement for the workers. We are so lucky to have our faithful helper, Dameron, who brings the garden helpers each week, while helping in the gardens.

A place for redemption
Life lessons through rescued bulbs, drought, hard seasons and finding joy can be found throughout the garden, which I have chronicled in a blog. Not a day goes by that the gardens don’t “speak” to my soul, drawing me closer to the Lord, Who created it all.

A place of restoration
The original grounds of the studio contained only rocks, garbage, horrible stickers and thorns, and a ratty old drug house. Through the restoration of the land, the tearing down and removal of the falling down drug house and creation of the heirloom gardens, Faith shows up again and again.

A place of love
The studio has been home to many wild things including pigeons, chickens, ducks, a cat, rabbit and most recently…a turtle.
A children’s book entitled A Pigeon Tale was written about this particular little girl and her pigeon.
“All things big and small, God loves them all.”
“There’s always room for one more bulb in the garden.”
